Homes for Lambeth are proposing to build 36 much-needed new homes at a site on the corner of Wootton Street and Greet Street, opposite the proposed new entrance for Waterloo East Station.

50% of the new homes will be affordable of which 70% will be council level rent and 30% shared ownership. The new homes will be a mixture of 1,2 and 3 bedroom properties, all of the 3 bedroom homes will be council level rent and 10% of the properties will be wheelchair accessible.
This will be a car free scheme with the 8 car parking spaces that are currently on site being allocated elsewhere. Instead, we are providing 66 secure cycle parking spaces for residents and 2 for visitors to the building.

The proposed building will be triangle in shape and set across three distinct sections of 5,8 and 10 storeys in height. All of the new homes will be accessed via Wootton Street.
In addition, the proposals include 375sqm of community space on the ground floor of the development, a new community garden, growing garden and play space for children.
